You may recall last year, singer Toni Braxton called it quits ending her music career to concentrate on her acting. Braxton felt that after spending nearly two decades as a successful recording artist it was time to breath again. Well, her decision to retire was rather short-lived. Toni Braxton is on tour and making a stop in Durham August 18th at DPAC. Tickets are on sale now.
It’s rumored that Producer/singer Babyface, who signed Braxton to her first solo record deal on LaFace Records, is somewhat responsible for her music comeback. Braxton and Babyface have that magical chemistry with hits like ‘Let It Flow’ and ‘You’re Makin’ Me High’ and other top 10 hits such as ‘Another Sad Love Song,’ and ‘Breathe Again’. The two will hit the recording studio to record a duet album that will be released on Motown Records. Look for a September release date.
