J Anthony Brown 40521

“Watch Out Deh Now” is more than a heed to action, it’s the trademark for funnyman J. Anthony Brown. He’s one of the voices that wakes you up weekday morning on the nationally syndicated Tom Joyner Morning Show for over ten years now.

Whether he’s murdering the hits with his parodies of well-known songs, or donning a pink pimp suit to get a laugh, Brown will definitely leave you in stitches. Brown says, “a lot of comics just do stand-up. But stand up is just one of the many facets of comedy. In his act, he rides the spectrum of funny. I’ll sing, incorporate skits and vignettes, do costume changes, and still tell you a joke,” reveals Brown.

Catch J. Anthony Brown as Rickey’s radio station manager Maurice, aka “Mo-Sweets” from his earlier rap career Friday night at 9:00 p.m. on TV One for the second season of the network’s original hit sitcom The Rickey Smiley Show.
